On the Bund, this is a British-style international 4-star hotel, built by a British merchant in 1934 to offer facilities and services for the needs of business and leisure travellers.

This hotel is one of 14 European architecture buildings from the 1920s and 1930s on the Bund. It was renewed with modern facilities and the elegant flavour of an old hotel in 2007. All rooms are renowned for being spacious, clean, tidy and comfortable in an elegant environment. Every room and suite features luxury facilities for both business guests who require privacy, and tourists who seek sightseeing opportunities, with the attractive beach and Pu Jiang nightlife nearby. By taxi, you can get to Shanghai Train Station or Pudong New Area in about 10 minutes and it is only 30 minutes to Pudong International Airport, which you can also access via shuttle bus.

Kamer en ontbijt goed.

Er staat in de beschrijving ligging aan de Bund,maar dan wel aan de verkeerde kant !!! dus niet aan de kant van Nanying road ( de winkelstraat )

Hotel hat nostalgie Wert. Ist zentral gelegen, Bund ist gleich um die Ecke. Guter freundlicher Service von Mitarbeitern,( Concierge, Bellboy, usw)

Die Betten waren zu hart. Frühstücksbuffet für Chinesen ok, für Europäer eher unbefriedigend. Tresor im Zimmer nicht befestigt, kann rausgetragen werden! Es hat jedoch Safe Möglichkeiten beim Empfang.
